In preparation for our new water tanks to be delivered we had to remove some of the trees around the house as they were clogging up the gutters and the leaves were fermenting in the gutters and tainting our drinking water.

Muscovy Ducks

Muscovy ducks which are more closely related to geese than ducks are a very quiet duck and in my experience great mum’s.

Incubating a duck egg artificially can be very tricky as they are very needy in relation to humidity.

I choose to allow my muscovy ducks to go broody and hatch their eggs naturally. It take approximately 35 days to hatch once the Muscovy duck starts to sit on the eggs.

Moringa Tree – seed germination

I have seen many varying opinions on germinating Moringa Tree seeds and decided to do an experiment.

I did 3 different techniques. I took some seeds and removed the husk, some others I just removed one end and the others I left intact.
