Water Storage

There are 2 x 22000L poly water tanks connected to the house that are currently full as well as a 20000L concrete tank that is not connected.

There is also a full 76000L swimming pool that is around 1.4m deep the entire length with a step the full length of the pool, which could be great as a swimming school pool or walking pool for the elderly or someone just wanting to do laps or simply for the kids to play in.

Currently

The below video was taken prior to the recent rain. I have also recently emptied and removed most of the IBCs in preparation for moving. There are still some left that can stay with the property if they are wanted.

Solar System + Electricity

The property has 3 phase power to the house and a 6.5 kW Solar System on the roof. You could potentially add extra Solar Systems if you want to one of the other phases.

How is the property effected by the Coomera Connector?

The State Governments has recently gazetted the Coomera Connector through parts of Eagleby but it does not effect this property. The purple dot on the below map is the location of the property in relation to the wetlands in blue and the gazetted road.

This video shows the actual government gazetted maps.

We have my Mum living downstairs and we are upstairs.

Effects of Floods on the property

The recent moderate flooding in Eagleby did have us concerned but we didn’t flood but the major flood in 2017 did flood the property but not the house. The below playlist has the videos I took during the floods.

Although floods have obvious disadvantages there are some advantages the soil is very fertile and grows things well. Flooding in the area is also fairly rare and this property is not cut off all that often.

We thought we were going to be flooded this year but we didn’t.
